The Rickreall Firefighters Association needs you! The protection of the Rickreall community is provided by a few good men and women willing to dedicate a few hours per week to learning how to safely provide emergency services. What is involved in volunteering?
Our station drills every Wednesday night from 7 to about 9:30 PM. We occasionally drill with our fellow Southwest Polk Fire District station in Dallas and Fall’s City, as well as our neighbors in Independence/Monmouth.
You will have the opportunity in learning First Aid, CPR, Firefighting skills, and more. Our goal is to have all new firefighters certified as NFPA Firefighter I within the first year.
As a member of the Rickreall Firefighters Association, you will become a part of a select group of great men and women.
Your responsibilities as a firefighter include responding to alarms within the Rickreall area. Each volunteer carries a radio pager and is asked to respond to calls when possible.
To join, feel free to drop by the station at 275 Main Street in Rickreall (Main is 99W) Wednesdays at 7 PM, call 503-623-6186 and leave a message, or feel free to email us at join@rickreallfire.org
